Two poms and a curlew sandpiper

Two pale phase pomarine skuas with full spoons flew down the Dyfi at RSPB Ynys-hir at high tide this morning, presumably blown into the estuary by the strong winds. On the Ynys Feurig flood there were 31 curlew, 11 whimbrel and a curlew sandpiper sheltering behind a rush clump.
