Prompted by Mike's pics and the presence still in our garden of a feeding pair I checked the boxes in the adjacent copse; I found these 2 PF broods. 3 healthy young whereas normally there would be 6 or 7 in one box and these little ones not long hatched. You can see which will be the survivor here!
Red has also got quite a few pieds still sitting. My normal week for fledging is first week of June, some in second week so it seems it is a late season for them.
