A female Merlin at the Leri Estuary at 6pm today. After a failed but dramatic attack on a flock of finches, - super views as she sat in the sun on a post for a rest. Only disturbed by a 6 seater pleasure cruiser returning along the Leri at high tide. Many thanks to Chris Bird for the chat and directions.
