Ynyslas

A very pleasant hour was spent at Ynyslas turn between 0630 and 0730 this morning. Lots of manx shearwaters, gannets and kittiwakes were passing though not in very great numbers. Around 70 dunlin, 20 ringed plover and three turnstone flew south too though little else of note. At Ynyslas, in the company of a birdwatcher from Wolverhampton staying at Aberdyfi, another hour was spent at high-tide. Highlights were five pintail, a Med. gull, 3 chough flying over, an osprey, two knot and a turnstone.
