Long-tailed Skua at New Quay

A pretty quiet four hour seawatch from the fish factory was saved  by a superb adult Long-tailed Skua.
Kittiwakes, Manx Shearwaters and Gannets were present only in small numbers. A few Fulmars still coasting around, five Med Gulls on the sea and, passing by, seven Sandwich Terns, four Common Scoter and a Whimbrel.
Despite some threatening clouds, the rain held off.
