About 10 Sandwich Terns present when I arrived at Castle Point this morning, but more southward bound birds were joining them and at one point I had a count of 65, mostly feeding inshore except for 22 on College rocks.
Hopes of them being joined by a skua were raised when I noticed a dark bird moving very low over the sea, but it was just a Peregrine.
