I managed just over an hour in the shelter on the castle before the rain set in. During that time 40 Gannets, a Common Scoter and a Kittiwake went past.
Visibility in the rain was so bad as to make further seawatching unproductive, to say the least. At times, even Constitution Hill was barely visible in the gloom.
On College Rocks were 20 Turnstones and 19 Ringed Plover.
Looks like Woodcock to me.
