It was dull and chilly when I arrived on the prom this morning. Visibility was poor at sea, so I started with a walk around the castle, finding good numbers of Meadow Pipits and a few Rock Pipits and Pied Wagtails.
Three Wigeon flew in and settled just off Castle point, a few Gannets and auks passed by in the gloom and there were 26 Ringed Plover, a few Turnstones and a Curlew on the rocks.
John joined me for a short time before the cold drove him away.
