Monday 12th October.
Within 15 minutes we saw a house sparrow
collecting nesting material, a Brambling foraging on the grass with the
chaffinches, and 12 swallows, feeding, then sitting on the electricity line to
preen. Haven’t noticed any other brambling sightings as yet in Ceredigion posted
on the blog. Yesterday (Thursday) saw our first Fieldfares of the autumn here in Capel
Seion.
