Later at Ynys-hir, from Domen Las, a Green and Common Sandpiper, both on the Ceredigion side of the river, sadly unlike the 2 Short-eared Owls. They had taken exception to a passing Buzzard and flew up to see it off and then flew around for a while before settling back on the ground.
From 5.05pm until 5.50 a good number of Starlings at Aberystwyth put on a really good show, some of them swarming on The Old College.
