Flocks

There were lots of birds this morning at the coast, though not all of them easily identifiable or countable. At Llanrhystud; 3 RT Divers, 7 Common Scoters, a few Gannets and a couple of Choughs. Flying mostly south in small groups, about 200 Auks. At Llanon; a brief walk round the first two fields suggested about 500 Linnets and 100 Skylarks plus a few bits and bobs among them. There were 60 Golden Plovers yesterday at Blaengwenllan, Henllan.
