In the bleak mid winter

This morning at Pont Gogoyan; 110 Wigeon, 30 Mallard, 20 Teal, 3 Goosanders and a Kingfisher. At Pant Pool;5 Little Grebes. At Ystrad Caron there were a few ducks too but visibility by then too poor to identify them. However, another Kingfisher was present, so I was very pleased to have seen two on this short stretch of the Teifi. This one was under the road bridge. Sheltering? When it's too wet for Kingfishers it's time to go home.
