Pont Gogoyan

Silke, I was surprised to see you say that there was no birdlife at Pont Gogoyan yesterday. There have been quite a lot of ducks there recently, over a hundred Wigeon on Sunday for example, and with the river high they have been showing well on the fields. I just wondered whether you were in the right spot. There isn't much at the bridge itself usually but if you look across and upriver from about grid ref 640550 you get a reasonable view. Or maybe something had just scared them off before you got there.
