Waders and gulls at Aberystwyth

Eight Purple Sandpipers  roosting on the sea wall this morning and nine Turnstones huddled up against the wall just round the corner at Castle Point. The most I've had here for some time.
At least 200 gulls riding the surf in South Bay were mostly Black-headed with some Common, a few Herring and Great Black-backed and try as I might, I couldn't find anything else with them.
I even had a walk along Tanybwlch Bay later, where there were also lots of gulls, with similar results.
