Seabirds off Aber

I was hoping that the strong onshore wind would bring something different, but this morning just the usual species were passing; all going south except a Common Scoter and one Gannet.
A few Gannets and Kittiwakes and even fewer Manx Shearwaters, the odd Sandwich Tern, two Fulmars, a Whimbrel and a Razorbill.
Helen joined me for a while in the shelter on the castle and we watched the hail bouncing off the ground.  Eventually the cold drove Helen homeward, the rain eased and a little passage of Sandwich Terns occurred; small groups totalling 20. Finally another Whimbrel passed.
