Plascrug Swifts

I had been wondering if they would return and there they were on Wednesday.8 of them screaming across the sky. I could stand and watch them all day.
Like John I worry about how they will find suitable nesting sites. The local Rheidol valley swift family haven't returned yet to their nesting site a shed with a badly worn corrugated roof.

When I worked in that area, Plascrug was usually the first place that I saw Swifts in Aberystwyth.
As I write this, there is a very active Spotted Flycatcher flitting around in a nearby tree.
