Llanon South

This young wheatear is making his way along the coast following the coast path signs; those pics weren't so sharp as this one!
Only a couple of adult meds along the shore.  I wonder if they are further north because the fields here are cultivated and have high standing crops?
There were hundreds of corvids in a huge flock swirling around and over the hill by Morfa Mawr farm and  over a hundred wood pigeons, probably eyeing up the barley crop.  A peregrine cruising around kept them all moving.  It didn't attempt a strike, might be fed up with jackdaw meat!
The coast path is bordered by a very good show of flowers and there is a big patch of planted clover so good for butterflies and bees when the sun shines.
