High tide at Ynyslas

As I was saying to Silke only yesterday at Ynyslas, at this time of year we hope to find perhaps a Little Stint or Curlew Sandpiper in the wader roost,so I was quite pleased when these two little beauties came up on the tide this morning.
The Dunlin/Ringed Plover roost was lower than of late at about 400, and two Knot, a Sanderling and a Whimbrel completed the wader line up.
A Common Tern joined the Sandwich sp; no count but there were ca150 yesterday.
Swallows have been moving north all week in good numbers, and later, at the point during a sudden shower, there were about 300 all around, many picking flies off the sand.  A few Sand Martins with them.
