I started at Aberystwyth where 35 Turnstones became very vocal but stayed put when two Peregrines flew in off the sea and continued inland over the castle.
Sandwich Terns scattered from Borth to Ynyslas, 30 at least. Red-throated Divers up to 12 and a minimum of 60 Common Scoter on the flat calm sea.
Still 27 Black-tailed Godwits on Glandwr.
