Castle Point

Unusually, there were two Peregrines perched on Constitution Hill this morning, one of which had earlier made a few low passes over College Rocks, completely ignored by the gulls there, though it did flush a Redshank.
At Castle Point were 36 Ringed Plover, seven Turnstones and a Dunlin.  John came along after a while and found a White Wagtail on the beach.  Our combined efforts could find nothing at sea  except a party of 14 Canada Geese flying south.
A trickle of Med Gulls were flying past us and settling on College Rocks; the final total was 19.
