Llanrhystud/Llanon

Nine species of wader eventually made themselves known this morning. Highlights; 5 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Sanderling, 11 Redshank and a Common Sandpiper. A male Common Scoter was drifting on the sea, very close to shore. Butterflies were noticeable by their numbers and variety and included a Clouded Yellow.
