Cross Inn woods Shrike

This afternoon there was a Great Grey Shrike at its regular location on the right hand side just before you reach the T junction as you go through the woods from the Cross Inn to Bethania road. Whether it was just the afternoon sun but it seemed to be more pink than grey and I hadn't got an id guide with me. I will have to go back with my scope tomorrow. I see from Collins that there are variations depending on where they come from but thought/assumed that all those coming here came from Northern Europe (excubitor).
