Dyfi pill-box

Rather blowy for the Leri and Ynyslas sections of the Dyfi WeBS count this morning. Highlights at the Leri section (pill-box) were a record count of grey plover for the county with 127, 530 oystercatcher, 16 knot, 31 bar-tailed godwit and 4 sanderling. Wigeon numbers have increased to 620 with 65 pintail. At Ynyslas it was very quiet with 46 golden plover the only count of note; the number of dog walkers (6 different groups in 30 minutes) probably the cause of an almost birdless beach. Once I get the RSPB Ynys-hir count I will post that too later.
