migrants and sedentary types

David, I saw a similar sized flock of geese fly over my house a couple of weeks ago. I thought they may have been Greylags heading towards Cors Caron area but wasn't sure. Thrushes, Starlings and pipits were very noticeable around Henllan/Penrhiwllan yesterday. I saw a pipit in a front garden and others on the tarmac of a recently completed cul de sac, where a field used to be. In contrast, a Marsh Tit was along the road between Penrhiwllan and Trebedw and earlier in the week a Willow Tit was at the feeder at Denmark Farm, Betws Bledrws.
