We dodged the showers this morning, starting our walk just as the rain stopped and arriving back at our car just as it started again. There weren't many other walkers at tan y Bwlch. The first birds of interest were a pair of Chough, on the other side of the river level with Spencer's Yard. We also saw 5 or 6 Wheatear along the path and about 14 or 15 Curlew in the fields towards the end of it.
