Twitching other people's birds

Having had no luck finding much recently, I decided to try for the Great Grey Shrike that Chris found at Llyn Syfydrin.  After about 20 minutes and no shrike, John turned up and we applied both our scopes to the job.  Still no joy until Kev and Sue arrived and within minutes Hawkeye Joynes had the bird in his bins.
Four of us in one of the more remote parts of the county; quite a twitch and we then enjoyed the bird, which was very flighty, in the bright clear sunshine.
John and I then continued to Pond yr Oerfa, where one of the Whooper Swans discovered yesterday by Elaine was still present.
