Around the Dyfi estuary

Fantastic light today at Borth, 1,000s of gulls (95% herring) close in and all the way up to Ynys Las, 100s of razorbill, handful of GCgrebe and a solitary red throated diver. Also a grey seal that cruised amongst the gulls, thought they might have been more wary! Lots going off further out as well.
6 barwits, a snipe and 4 ringed plover on the Leri, also 2 little grebe. 2 more wits on Glandwr but not certain which, as they were fast on, at least 2 water rail nearby as well! A few curlew about and lapwing and golden plover in the fields east of the railway xing.
Saturday between Aberdyfi/Abertafol ca 70 pintail from the train, too fast for a proper count but = most I have ever seen on the Dyfi I think.
