On our walk along Ynhs-hir Lane in the pouring rain this morning I counted c350 crows grubbing around in one field and dozens of fieldfare in another.
There were also lots of starling, chaffinch, blackbird and other thrushes about, and I heard but didn't see a few long-tailed tits.
I returned home with two wet, smelly dogs.
