That American Wigeon

This afternoon on the rising tide at Ynyslas Chris picked out the American Wigeon which he originally found last Wednesday.
The bird was in the same location, around the mouth of the Leri, and is a male almost in full plumage with a trace of eclipse.  The Wigeon flock and everything else in the vicinity was seemingly unconcerned by a Peregrine which was standing on a sandbank.
He also had a very good count of 56 Dunlin on the beach near the turn car park.
There were thousands of gulls all along from Upper Borth to Ynyslas turn and large numbers of auks.
