I had completely forgotten that we had seen a Little Grebe, found by Elaine, on the Ystwyth at Tanybwlch on Saturday during the field trip, until Chris told me this evening that Llinos Spenser had told him about one there on the 4th.
A very scarce bird in Aberystwyth. Looking through my records, I had several in the harbour or offshore during the 1990's but this was my first here for about ten years.
