In Cwm Rheidol this afternoon, 56 Mallard, seven Goosander, 13 Teal, a Goldeneye and no fewer than six Snipe showing well.
Further downstream on the gravel pits were five Coot and up to seven Goldeneye in the fading light.
The female Black Redstart was on the Old College.
