Ynyshir today, and Aberystwyth gulls

Spent a few hours this morning in the Domen-Las hide at ynys-hir. A count of 51 Mallard was a surprise, just beyond the mallards were 4 Gadwall (1m & 3f) and decent numbers of Teal. 3 Little Grebe, 2 Green Sandpiper, a Merlin and a Peregrine were around. The last week or so around Aberystwyth harbour has produced another 1st winter Yellow-Legged Gull (I think) and a Med gull.
