Daniel wasn't sure whether to report this as, in his words, Curlew are quite common round here.
This is only true of the Dyfi and Teifi estuaries and the coastal fields between Llanrhystud and Aberaeron. They do occur in small numbers along the coast and some sites inland, but 16 is a good count for Tanybwlch.
To anyone who is not familiar with the county the Ceredigion Bird Report gives a good idea of what can be found, where and when and in what kind of numbers.
