This morning there was a Merlin perching and flying low in the fields to the north of the mouth of the Peris. Other birds at Llansantffraed beach included about 500 Golden Plover, over 130 Wigeon, 10 Grey Plover, 6 Shoveler, 2 Common Gull, a Redshank and a Snipe.
