Ynyslas

Chris visited the Dyfi estuary yesterday and had 11 Grey Plover, two Sanderling, four Turnstones and about 80 Dunlin.  He also managed a good look at the pale-bellied Brents that have been around since last Wednesday to find they are a family party of two adults and three 1st w birds.
He also had a ringtail Hen Harrier over Ynys Tachwedd fields (twice).
Last Friday Chris had a look at the Rheidol gravel pits where there were five Coots, four Goosanders and what looked like a couple of Great Crested Grebes, although well obscured.  It's a pity there is no access to these waters so they have to be viewed from a good distance.
Later the Pied Wagtail roost held around 90 birds.
