New Quay and Cross Inn Forest

Quieter than hoped for at New Quay head Saturday morning.  Four Red-throated Divers, two Gannets, two Common Scoter, three Fulmars, one Shag, one Kittiwake and a few distant auks.
Later, despite the wind and drizzle, Cross Inn Forest produced 19 species, highlights being several singing Chiffchaffs and the shrike was showing well at the clearing by the T-junction.
