Aberaeron north beach yesterday about c250 golden plover in
various stages of summer plumage were a bit agitated by a Short eared owl, but
showed no reaction to two Red kites.
One Swallow flying north along the south
cliffs could just herald summer, a first year Glaucous gull also flying north at
about 1240 flew south about an hour later.Imagine it might be going to the fish
factory at New Quay.
