Spring has sprung
Taking advantage of a dry day, we went to Mwnt this morning hoping for wheatear. Sure enough we soon found two smart males. These were nearly overshadowed by a swallow accompanying two sand martins along the cliff edge.
In need of some refreshment we went to the Teifi marsh visitor centre, and a short walk around there ensured we were bombarded by chiff-chaff song from every direction.
Yes, from my birding perspective Spring has certainly sprung.
