Been
away a lot this winter. Cayman to see both kids and grandchildren who live
there. And then a three week eagle/vulture survey in Oman with Mick Green, Tal y
Bont. And then away again - big birthday - again in Cayman. Nice but I've missed
quite a few good things!
Took two birding friends who were visiting to
Aberaeron-Aberarth - A Ringed Plover obviously beginning to hold territory, but
apart from that and a few Golden Plover, Oystercatchers and Redshank, nothing.
Not surprising given the people who were out tramping along the shoreline - why
not keep to the path??!!.
Nothing on the sea of any
note.

I'm quite jealous of the eagle/vulture survey. What a way to spend some time.
