Then the bird of the day, a Hooded Crow on a fence post just past the rugby club.
At Cross Inn Forest, a very active Cuckoo, Whitethroat, Gropper and several displaying Tree Pipits.
Common Sandpiper and Sedge Warbler at Llansantffraed this afternoon, plus six Wheatears and Swallows and Sand Martins in double figures.
