A visit to Ynyslas this morning reminded me of why it's best avoided on a sunny Sunday. Between the dog walkers I managed a meagre haul of three Ringed Plovers, a Golden Plover and a Turnstone.
Two Sandwich Terns were perched on buoys.
At Glandwr my first Sedge Warbler of the year was singing, as were a Willow Warbler and a Skylark. Six Redshank on the pool and a female Pintail flew over.
