CATTLE EGRET update

Alerted by John , whilst helpless in Norfolk , I raced over today as we got back yesterday , with much angst , but found the Cattle Egrets just beyond the rail crossing, beyond the boatyard; they continued to cross the Leri and return to the field on the boatyard side at intervals-what lovely birds! Finally at re 15:oo we saw EIGHT of them together!!! Where are they coming from? Probably 2 groups which only join up on occasion. A solitary White wagtail popped up too.
