Hooded Crow and Ynyslas

It's just good bird after good bird! A Hooded Crow was on the ploughed field at Ynys Tachwedd, Ynyslas this morning. A very welcome lifer indeed!
A two hour seawatch from Ynyslas this afternoon produced a Great Skua heading north and a pale phase Arctic Skua heading south. A Peregrine took a Whimbrel that was hiding in the saltmarsh. Not a noise I'll forget for a while.
Yesterday's Ring-billed Gull
Edward O'Connor

After a failed attempt at the Hoopoe this morning I decided to check the Cattle Egrets and after meeting Edward we found three still present. Luckily I was still on my way back to the car when he found the hoodie and so a few minutes later we were both enjoying it.
