Aberaeron and Cross Inn Forest

25 species at Aberaeron yesterday morning included Swallow, Gannet, Ringed Plover and five singing Whitethroats, also a good number of juvenile Linnets. A pair of Great Tits with two young and three pairs of Stonechats, one of which had a single juvenile and another carrying food.
Later at Cross Inn seven warbler species included three Wood Warblers on the way in.
Cuckoo from Cwm Wyre and Redstart singing in the second clearing.  Great views of a male Crossbill, one of three, the others being females.
