Llanon

There were about 250 Med. Gulls south of the village this morning along with 450 Herring Gulls and the Black-tailed Godwit found previously. Small numbers of Med Gulls were peeling off and drifting north, as was I. At the church, 200 Med Gulls. Definitely some double counting but I'd say 250-400 about. Small numbers of waders; Curlew, Oystercatcher, Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper, Redshank, Turnstone, plus the Godwit and an exceptionally close, hovering Kestrel.
