Redshanks at Aberystwyth

Helen's attachment to Castle Point was rewarded yesterday morning when she found 11 (eleven) Redshanks clinging on to the last remaining rocks on the rising tide.
Helen and Gareth were also at Ynyslas on Monday morning, but despite all our efforts we couldn't find the King Eider, although it had been present earlier.
We ended up looking along the Leri from the road bridge, where they found a Common Sandpiper.
