YNYSLAS and ABERYSTWYTH

The high tide gathering at Ynyslas yesterday evening was much as it was for Harry in the morning: at least 15 Sandwich Terns, 31 Ringed Plovers, 185 Dunlin and a Turnstone.
However, a bonus was meeting Justin (NRW ex CCW main man there) and learning about the efforts to protect the breeding pairs of Ringed Plovers there and many other aspects of the flora and fauna of Ynyslas.
This morning in the harbour at Aberystwyth at high tide were 3 Common Sandpipers, a Turnstone and Redshank. I have been hearing and seeing Common Sands every day recently.
