The female King Eider was back in the Dyfi this evening, quite a way up the estuary. Highlight of the wader roost was a single Curlew Sand. On my way to the Dyfi I stopped off at Llanrhystud where there was a female shoveler and three female wigeon on the flood behind the shingle bank.
