It was good to see over 200 barnacle geese from the saltings hide today, many
more than I can remember last year. A merlin was hunting along the edge of the
salt marsh and a peregrine joined in later, quite a few teal and wigeon, it
feels like autumn. 4 black tailed godwits also from the Ynys feurig hide.
