The weather was so awful this morning; wet, windy, misty,etc. that I abandoned all thoughts of searching for Hawfinch and went to Ynyslas instead.
I arrived about 30 min before high tide and ended up with a reasonable selection of waders, i.e. ca80 Dunlin, two Bar-tailed Godwits, Greenshank, Grey Plover and a few Redshank and Curlews.
